    We have a Walk In artist, so call or text or just come on by!

    We are open when we are there and closed when we are not!

    We do not have counter staff as each artists works on their own schedule.

    We are neighbors with Campfire Hotel. We highly recommend staying there for your appointment/or guest spot . We are a walks away from food trucks, groceries, health food store, cannabis shop , and really close to downtown .

  • If you are unsure of what artist you would like to get tattooed from / and or meet. Please fill out our booking form for the studio , and we will choose an artists that best suits your needs based of style or availability.

    Please allow 3 business days to hear from us .

    All consultations are free, however if you choose to book an appointment, we will take a deposit based of artists minimum. ( generally 150 )

    You choose artist or any staff , consult or tattoo , and appropriate time.

  • Walk ins are 100 minimum as well as events with flash !

    Most of our artist have appointments ! We take deposit of 150.00 and charge on an individual bases between 150-200 an hour .

    Our 150.00 Deposits are non-refundable.

    Deposits are taken to schedule an appointment and drawing fee.

    Some artists vary if your deposit rolls over to your last session.

    You can contact your artist to reschedule your appointment in a 72 hour window, or you will forfeit your deposits. All deposits are non refundable.

  • For MOST appointments the design is ready the day of the appointment , and there is enough time to edit the design in person together

    ( please read design changes).

    If you are getting a backpiece or Sleeve- something large and complicated , the artist will schedule 2nd and 3rd consults prior to your appointment.

    Please consider an artists life outside of tattooing, Artists have a strict system that ensures me to not burn out and make everyones tattoo special with putting love in the details.

    Please make sure you are choosing the artist with total trust , as this is team work ♡artists tattoo 8 hour days, and design the night/ morning prior or days leading up to your appointment.( depending on size) Large scale projects sometimes take artists a few weeks to design.

  • Artists generally will allow 2 minor design changes after viewing your illustration that are within 15 mins of change time.

    Anything longer or more complex requires the artist to redesign and then re study the color palette ,the shapes, and the light sources.

    These changes are totally fine however they will require us to RESCHEDULE and NEW DEPOSIT will be taken. (sometimes the artist will discuss other )

    It is only fair the artists get paid to draw. Thank you for understanding what it takes to make this perfect for the both client /artist to be happy with the illustration and for client/artist to work in harmony with one another <3

  • Our studio is a safe place for all bodies and all genders .

    Queer husband and wife owned, we strive to create a place of comfort for everyone .

    We honor that our place is cozy and intimate and curated for the strange and unusual, but all casual folk may enter the imaginarium as well <3

    We want to stand out and up for those who support us in return .

  • You must be 18 years of age to be legally tattooed.

    Please no blood thinners, or antibiotics at time of an appointment.

    Please stay hydrated and well fed during your appointments. We have neighbors that sell food and snacks , so please don’t rely on studio. However - we will always serve tea and water !

    We are a family run business , and allow children . However they must be supervised and well behaved as some of our decor and art is irreplaceable. Tattoo stations are dangerous for children , and sometimes clients are fully nude . We want to respect everyone’s comfort of their experience here . Keep this in mind when bringing in minors .

    Please don’t smoke in front of building , our lease has a smoke free agreement, you must walk to sidewalk to partake.

    All deposits are non refundable. We ask that you give us 72 hour notice if rescheduling your appointment so that your deposit stays valid. Each artists has rules on changes to the design . Most likely 72 hour notice as well expect for large scale designs .

  • Cash is king!

    However we understand that a lot of tattoos are over the amount some atms can pull - so please budget appropriately.

    We accept square , but to take a debit or credit card we will have to charge the square fee. (2.6 !!!)

    A lot of artists can use electronic payments like Zelle with no additional fees.

    7-11 next to us has an ATM , but remember -they have limits .

    Artists have to pay fees on Venmo , PayPal , or cashapp. So please ask the artists what preferred method of payment is !

  • Every artist will give you proper instructions on your tattoo aftercare.

    Each artist tattoos different and all have their own way of knowing what works for their style and aftercare .

    Here is a general aftercare our studio recommends.

    Non Second skin/tegaderm care

    • Keeping tattoo clean with antibacterial soap is best.

    • never use petroleum based products , only unscented lotions.

    • when applying only use chapstick layers. rub it in and wipe excess off

    • never us antibiotic cream , or coconut oil

    • never soak or submerge tattoo during the first 7-14 days

    • no direct sunlight on a healing tattoo

    • no exercise during the healing of a tattoo . Working out can cause the tattoo to swell/split and crack during healing

    • hydrate and rest because that heals the body best

    Second skin - Tegaderm Care

    • Leave first piece artist put on for 24 hours

    • the following morning from being tattoo, remove bandage if there’s fluid ( plasma) collected underneath

    • wash tattoo with antibacterial soap ( remove all the excess ink , slime, buildup, plasma )

    • dry with clean paper towel, or air dry 20 mins

    • reapply second skin / tegaderm banage

    • wear 3-7 days.

    • you can change the badge as much as you want if you have access to the bandage or caught your own role

  • What does all this tattoo terminology mean!?

    All this info is never to scare one away with a book of offerings to read however, this allows you to understand the process !

    Creative Freedom -

    Being micro-managed in art takes away the freedom to create whatever comes to the mind while drawing. To make a readable - legible- cohesive design one must stay within the “rules” of art that apply when it comes to technical application, composition, color, value, light source, etc .

    A straightforward idea makes for a readable design.

    Example- A witch and her Cauldron.

    A lady with plants growing out her head

    A witch riding her spirit animal

    a peony with black work ornamental motifs.

    Anything more then 3 Elements per tattoo , becomes a whole other tattoo.

    PreDrawn

    These are designs or tattoos artists already drew and colored and are ready to be tattooed with zero changes! This is what artists spend in their free time curating in hopes of getting the opportunity to tattoo.

    Freehand

    Some artists prefer to draw right onto the skin, and tattoo . This requires trust from both persons , but generally flows to the body perfectly .

    Custom Tattoos

    Custom tattoos are all your ideas, and the artist make something from them! As amazing as this process can be , and the teamwork that it takes between the two artist/client ( sometimes even mentors chime in on designing ) This can be extremely taxing and difficult to accomplish unless appropriate time is planned.

    It takes about 2-8 hours to design the average tattoo. For large scale projects - Artists usually spend a few days researching references. Planning my layout and composition for the project. Then artists spend days drawing it. Once artists have a good foundation and framework for the tattoo artist come up with a color palette, a mood, the lighting and the emotion that can then go into this piece. This is why designing things can be so complicated when you have so many variables of being told exactly what to do because its the most meaningful.

    artists want to give you those meaningful tattoos and experiences, but artists also want tattoos to be readable, age well, and keep artists interested to produce the best piece.
